I’m excited about the upcoming month of June … this means: another “Ode an Juni / Ode to June” film! Just made the title … (the phone lying on my Nizo camera filming me in timelapse mode …)

I’m excited about the upcoming month of June … this means: another “Ode an Juni / Ode to June” film! Just made the title … (the phone lying on my Nizo camera filming me in timelapse mode …)

I just scanned a lot of old almost forgotten pinhole negatives (super hi res with the coolest Hasselblad scanner on earth at Bethanien!) … this is my favourite at the moment:

… is the title of a wonderful Photo Festival happening Friday and yesterday!
They call it Photo Weekend and say: “Our yearly Photo Weekends are the highlight of our programming. Over two days each spring, we host a festival of analog photography with hands-on workshops, talks, a group exhibition, a market, show and tell sessions, and more. It’s a weekend to celebrate analog practices and connect Berlin’s analog photo scene.”
I was part of it with a super 8 filming and ecodeveloping workshop!
Located at the Nirgendwo / Nowhere (Helsingforser Str. 10, 10243 Berlin) which is a cultural center dedicated to environmental and sustainability education: “A place that has grown up around an old locomotive shed on a former railway wasteland, sustainably developed and designed by a local community. A place and a project on a mission to create a biodiverse and climate-resilient city that makes room for all forms of life.”
We (lovely people from Hamburg, Slovakia, Ukraine and Berlin!!) filmed, ran around, developed in a juice made from banana, potato and orange peels and some local leaves and flowers and in the end we had two wonderful developed super 8 reels which will be digitized next week!

This is how I express my happiness (in Scotland) about my 1st prize that I won at Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen Film Festival just now. The German Competition. With my short super 8 Film ‘Audry Lornacle or 14 Days in DJ’s House”. Yippeeeh!!!!
