… taken from „Fuji On The Beach“ 😉

It’s already 3 weeks ago but I still have a crazy smile on my red lips when I think back … „The Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever“!!
Women, men and some children disguised themselves as Kate Bush (like she was in her very first video clip performing Wuthering Heights in 1978), meeting on a picnic at Berlin Tempelhofer Feld and … dancing like her! In a crowd, in a kind of flashmob. Mass experience. Wow, that was pure fun and a celebration of beautiful silliness as well as open admiration for an extreme beautiful and touching ever-green song and a cool and picturesque choreography!
Here’s the event on Facebook.

(Taken with a self-made coffee can pinhole camera, expired Fuji sheet film inside. Exposure: 2 minutes)

(Found at Kottbusser Damm, Berlin)
… and a good way to reuse your plastic water bottles!

… and I’m gonna drink it! 😀

… opening soon!

There’s a new spot in Berlin, a little burrito shop, yummy big portions, Burritos and Quesadillas for 4 €.
At Kottbusser Damm which is a very ugly but also very lovely and lively street, I’ve lived there around the corner for so many years … I still like it. Go there and munch! It’s number 8 I think, close to U-Bahn station Schönleinstrasse!

A very bad photo of a very good fresh tattoo!

… your beards off, you hipsters 😀

My brother and me, we are setting up our new dark room! Analog photos and films! Workshops galore! Meetings and work and fun!

One long week in Berlin: a festival all about analogue photography! AnalogueNow! An exhibition of great photo works and many many workshops. One of the workshops: mine! Developing black&white super 8 films in ecological stuff (such as Wurzelpeter bitter schnaps, coffee, flower tea …).
6 people, 5 hours, 4 film rolls, playing, filming, walking in the sun in Berlin-Lichtenberg’s beautiful and empty (industrial) streets.
And then: big surprise and fascination how it is possible that „simple“ non-poisonous things like tea made from local flowers and weed, brandy and coffee are so strong to develop a film into a b&w negative with great grey nuances, strong contrasty blacks and whites.
Yes!
Let’s do it again! More workshops soon to come …

I will have a darkroom finally. A real darkroom, part of an atelier of a friend’s. Shared with my brother, the photographer. More films, more analog experiments, more „real“ photos, more playing with matter, juices and chemicals, light, friends. Yeah!
… for summer!

…. in only one day. They popp up. They come. Life continues.

Sad man in his little cabin contemplating about life and Easter decoration.
Seen at Potsdamer Platz.

I love this picture!
It’s a still from a super 8 film of mine. Weird colours because while developing the colour developer decayed somehow, magically giving the film a solarized touch.

Recently in Dresden

This can happen when your colour developer (E6 colour reversal film processing) gets old … there is this magical moment when it’s still working just before it dies … and mysteriously gives your images a colour and contrast bewitchment. Whooaaahh!!

My Illy Coffee Pinhole Camera took this photo. A quiet afternoon in Berlin just before New Year’s Eve.
